Once you have finished a nice juicy Apricot, you are left with the stone, or kernel. Inside this hard shell lies a little miracle. When the stone is opened you will find a nut-like seed, similar to an Almond in appearance.
There are two different types of apricot kernels, bitter and sweet. Bitter Apricot Kernels are harvest of uncultivated apricot trees. They should only be consumed 1-2 pieces a day. Although it doesn't have a pleasent taste, it is preferred because of its health benefits.
Bitter apricot kernels are not tree nuts thus they are allergen free products.
Grown in the paradise known as Malatya, Turkey, and processed in our state of the art, BRC certified facility in Izmir. They are completely raw, not steamed or cooked, so they retain all of their nutritional benefits. Organic Bitter apricot kernels are available in their original form or processed into a powder.
